HARTT for the heart project
Supports: the chamber music program and its outreach activities at the Hartt School.
The recent pandemic has affected so many, including our arts organizations and educational institutions. Even when faced with incredible uncertainty about the future, I am inspired and uplifted by my students' reactions: make music, connect, inspire, communicate. All donations will go to support chamber music activities for these unflappable young musicians: to pay for guest masterclass artists, fund some of their chamber music projects, pay for travel to and from hospitals and schools where they might be bringing their music, even for music or equipment they might need to buy or rent.

The perfect confluence of events...the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth and the 100th anniversary founding of The Hartt School. Besides performing the entire Beethoven String Quartet cycle, we have many other events planned: masterclasses, lectures, a composition blow-out around the Grosse Fuge, and more involving members of the Miami Quartet, former members of the Tokyo and Cypress Quartet, SOLI ensemble, and Hartt faculty, students and alumni.
